In Valencian Community, as in the majority of other cities, there are three different types of schools: public schools, charter schools, and private schools. In Valencia there is a vast selection of private schools: from British, French, American to German schools. Private schools are a private company of education funded exclusively by the parents.

Los colegios privados es una empresa privada de educación financiada exclusivamente por los padres.

El sistema educativo de los colegios privados es diferente a los colegios públicos y concertados. El límite de plazas y el acceso depende de la administración del centro educativo. Los colegios privados tiene estudiantes de educación infantil, primaria, educación secundaria obligatoria y el bachillerato. Los precios suelen variar, dependiendo del colegio, pero normalmente el coste mensual medio de un colegio privado es 650 €.

En cuanto al sistema educativo, las calificaciones varían del sistema español, los alumnos son calificados con letras de A – E. La nota A + equivale a un 10*, A: 9-8; B: 8-7; C: 7-6; D: 6-5; E: 4< suspenso.
Los éxamenes que se llevan a cabo en los colegios británicos de Valencia, equivalen a los éxamenes que tienen que hacer los alumnos británicos en Inglaterra. El primer examen oficial que los alumnos han de aprobar para pasar al siguiente curso, es IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education), que equivale a ESO (Educación Secundaria Obligatoria) del sistema educativo en España. Éstos éxamenes tienen lugar en el año 10 y 11 del colegio, cuando los alumnos tienen de de 14 a 16 años. Incluyen asignaturas, como: Matemáticas, Ciencias, Arte, Música, Historia Contemporánea, Geografía, Lenguas, Literatura.

Después de haber aprobado los exámenes de IGCSE, los alumnos tienen que aprobar AS levels (Advanced Subsidiary) primero de bachillerato, la edad de los examinados es de 16 – 17 años.

Por último, en el año 13, el último año antes de acceder a la universidad, todos los colegios que no tengan el sistema educativo español, ofrecen dos salidas a sus alumnos: realizar la selectividad española, o bien, hacer los A levels del sistema educativo británico. Al realizar la selectivadad británica: A levels, posteriormente se homologan los estudios, por lo cuál no habría ningún problema en escoger cualquier sistema de los dos.

Finalmente, los colegios privados son igual de buena opción que los centros públicos o concertados. Aunque, para una mayor atención al estudiante, más personalizada y particular, los colegios privados son la mejor elección. En especial, los colegios bilingües es la mejor elección, ya que desde la temprana edad de 3 años, los niños están expuestos a dos idiomas a la vez: Castellano e Inglés (u otro idioma, dependiendo del colegio), debido a lo cual, los niños se integrarán mejor en el mundo actual. Esto también les ayuda a desarrollarse de una manera diferente, que los niños monolingües tal vez no puedan hacer, debido a una menor presencia de diferentes idiomas en su vida diaria.

The education systems of the private schools is different from public and charter schools. The limit of the vacancies and the access are determined by the school administration. Private schools have the possibility of studying in nursery, primary, secondary and high school.  The prices of the private schools usually vary, depending on the school, but the medium price  is approximately 650 € per month.

As far as the grading system, the marks vary from the Spanish system of grading, which is from 10-5. The highest grade that a student can obtain is a 10, which is equivalent to an A+,  A: 9-8; B: 8-7; C: 7-6; D: 6-5; E: 4< fail.
The exams that students have to undergo in Valencia, in British Schools, are the same that the students in the UK have to pass (Cambridge Exams). The first official exam that they will have pass is the ESO (Educación Secundaría Obligatoria) which equals to IGCSE. These exams take part in the year 10 and 11 of school, when the students area from 14 to 16 years old. These exams include subjects, such as: Mathematics, Science, Art, Music, Modern History, Geography, Language, Literature.

After having passed IGCSE examinations, the students have to pass the AS levels (Advanced Subsidiary), which equals to primero de bachillerato in Spain, the age of the students is 16-17 years.

Overall, in the last year of school, Year 13 (segundo de bachillerato), the last year before getting into the university, all the schools that do not have Spanish education system, offer their students two ways to getting into the univesity: go through the Spanish »Selectividad» (which allows students to get into the university), or either do A levels of the British education system, either way is possible and equally valid.

Once the students choose, if they chose A levels, subsequently they will have their final grade certified and authorised in Spain, in order to be able to access any Spanish university.

Overall, private schools are equally  as a good option as public or charter educational centre. Even though, it is important to emphasize that for more attention to the student, a more personalized and particular treatmeant, private schools is the best option. Especially, bilingual schools are a better option, due to their higher involvment into languages, from the early age of 3 years, the children are exposed to at least two languages at the same time: Spanish and English (or another language, depending on the school). This way of education helps the students to develop in a different way, that the monolingual children could not do, due to a lower presence of different languages in their day to day life.

Частные школы приподают с 1 по 11 класс и мимо этого, так же ясли. Цены частных центров разнообразные, в зависимости от школы, но, обычно месячная цена: 650 €.

То, что касается оценок, они отличаются от испанской системы калификации, 10-1 (испанская система калификации), А-Е (английская система). Оцена А+=10=5; B=8-7=4; C= 7-6 = 4-; D= 6-5 = 3; E=2<.
Экзамены, которые проходят в английских школах в Валенсии, экивалентны экзаменам, которые делают британские ученики в Англии. В конце концов, частные школы такой же хороший выбор как и публичные или чартерные центры. Хотя, для большого внимания для учеников, более персонализированного и конкретного, частные школы это лучший выбор.
Особенно, если эти школы двуязчные или более, это самая лучшая опция, так как в возрасте 3 лет, дети начинают свободно разговаривать на двух языках: испанский и английский (или другой вротой язык, в зависимости от школы), благодаря этому, дети лучше смогут развиваться в современном мире. Это так же поможет им развивать по-другому, так как одноязычные дети скорее всего не смогут, из-за меньшего присутствия различных языков в их повседневой жизни.
